| I'm listening to some of the older 40k Radio podcast and I got onto Episode 45 which came out around 6/1/2009. They were talking about the price differences before and after the price raise and I was wondering what is everyone's opinion on the raise. Lets try not to start a flame war here just wondering. | |

| I just find it interesting that they also dropped the "free shipping" threshold from $100 to $15. I guess they want to direct order more stuff?
Either way, this is even more reason for me to purchase my GW stuff through 3rd party wholesale dealers. Being able to buy 2 Chimeras for $60 from the War Store is a LOT better than buying two from GW direct for $85. | |

| On that episode I was talking about, they were describing it as a frog in a pot of water. If the water is boiling the frog will jump out before it dies. If its warm and you raise the temperature on it the frog will stay in there and eventually die. I'm still probably going to buy from GW but if it gets out of hand Time for 3rd party. Oh by the way how is The War Store? I'm planning on buying the Sabol Army Transport when it comes out again and I was going to buy it through The War Store. Is it good customer service wise, How long does it take to get from them to you, etc. | |

| Although it's true that BFG is now doing 20% as well, I don't exactly live in Austin anymore. Besides, I buy a lot of stuff from the War Store that BFG doesn't sell, or doesn't always have in stock. The $5 shipping fee isn't that bad either. In fact if you buy in bulk it's almost negligible. As far as service goes, the War Store has never failed me. The one time I ordered something and there was a problem (item was out of stock but webpage wasn't up to date on that fact) Neil, the owner, contacted me himself and added a bunch of free 40k bits to my order to cover the inconvenience of having to wait for my other stuff to come out of back order. Stuff that I've ordered that HAS been in stock usually shows up to my house in 3-5 days, so there isn't even that much of a wait. Bitz-only orders tend to show up even quicker; typically 2-3 days. Great stuff. | |

| Now compared to Direct ordering from GW and getting it at the store, which takes longer? Depending on the shortest time I might go with The War Store for the Lucius the Eternal model. | |
