| In order to balance our odd number of players we have to give players BYE weeks. I balanced this out by giving multiple BYEs in the same week in order to make sure everyone played the same number of games Week 1 (Oct. 13-18) David vs. Angelo Nick vs. Jack Russel vs. J Bien, Jeff, and Colby have BYEs. Week 2 (Oct. 20-25) Russel v Nick Jack v David Colby v J Bien v. Jeff Angelo has the BYE Week 3 (Oct. 27-Nov 1) Jeff v. Angelo Bien v. Jack David v. Colby J v Nick Russel has the BYE Week 4 (Nov. 3 - Angelo v. Bien Nick v. Colby Russel v Jeff J v Jack David has the BYE Week 5 (Nov. 10 - 15) David v Bien Colby v Russel Jack v Angelo J v Jeff Nick has the BYE Week 6 (Nov 17 - 22) David v Nick Russel v Angelo Bien v Colby Jack v Jeff J has the BYE Week 7 (Nov. 24 - 29) Nick v Angelo J v David Colby v Jeff Bien v Russel Jack has the BYE If I made any errors in this I'll fix it but week 1 and 2 should be good to go | |

| I look forward to playing everyone with my totally untested list full of units and combinations I've never used in my life but submitted for the league anyway.
Who is willing to give me some practice games Friday? Assuming I can hobble together some difficult conversions/my second wave of Warstore part orders arrive in time?

| I can play friday with both my league list and a list that is more well rounded (at least tactically)
though you may want to get in your league game friday as well
Of course Friday im at the store from noon - dinner so if you're early enough you can do both

| I have some really difficult conversions to do, and some time consuming bases that are tough to do, so I'm not sure if I'll be ready Friday for the formal league game with all WSIWYG and no proxies.
I am gonna be super proud of my league army once it is all built and converted/sculpted though, and then ideally painted as well if this is an army I stick with for a long time.
I'd want to play your league army btw.

Russel, I hope you have your try pants on. You got a middle seed and in order to make the logistics work you ended up playing both the 1 and the 9. It averages out. If we had 20 players I could do a much better job evening things out.

| It seems that the amount of players has dropped a lot. | |

| It's the time of the year I think. And the economy? We have more players than ever at the store. | |

| Time of year. Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and various fall events I almost couldnt participate.
Multiple of our regulars are not participating and its likely due to time constraints.

| Today's practice game with Colby, more so than my practice game with Jack, made me realize what I SHOULD have taken...I'm starting to see that being gone almost the whole time since the SW codex came out and not getting to practice my lists really skewed what models I took for fun or because I spent time on conversions, instead of a long haul for the league... Edit: Colby called me right after I made this post to tell me that my list really needs work now that I got to practice it...ouch...it's not a BAD list, it's just not well-rounded enough for something like a league and having people push their armies in different directions....plus he's right that I am missing out on the chance to do some really awesome stuff where I could be the sugar land guy with the germanic knights armies with guys on battlesteeds...fits with my DIY theme.... Edit more: Yeah looking at the points again I'd like to take a list with more variety and really cool conversions and less eternal warrior 2+ runic/terminator spam, if people are ok with it. Considering Jack is below me in seeding and his army is pretty killer anyway I don't think it would have affected the seeding anyway. Plus, then I can make a saga of the hunter model themed on Zamiel from Der Freischuetzer, the famous Germanic opera. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Freisch%C3%BCtzEdit more more: too bad I looked at the SW codex before I went to bed and saw what all the people from all the forums and blogs have missed that is that they snuck INFANTRY ONLY into the fluff introduction of the hunter saga...no dream themed outflanking thunderwolf for Nick....damn, was so excited... | |

| Wait a minute- it says on page 85 that you can take saga of the hunter if you aren't on a bike or on a jump pack. But on the saga page it says infantry only. Which is the case? It's weird that the infantry only is in the fluff part and not the latter part of the saga entry...which of the two rules is the case? I wonder if they made a typo or were sloppy on the saga entry? IDK
Edit: Colby seems to think that like the BBB overrules the codex, what it actually says in the unit entry in the back overrules the generalities of the wargear item..."If it says he can take it then he can take it"....hmmmm
