here's what I got so far

that works out to a single troops choice, so you'll need a 2nd one to be legal.

I would also probably make the 2 vanquishers into different squads so you can spread around the anti-tank and kill more things in a single turn.

so i could just add another platoon command squad or just remove the one? what would be the better option?

You need to add one of the following:

A) One Platoon Command Squad and another Infantry Squad in order to make another Platoon. 1 Platoon (at minimum) = 1 Platoon Command + 2 Infantry Squads = 1 FOC Troops Choice. As you need 2 FOC Troops choices to have a legal army, you must add more troops.

B) Since two Platoons is at minimum 2 Platoon Commands and 4 Infantry Squads, and you only have 4 Chimeras, you could shuffle around your platoon command and infantry squads to create 3-4 Veteran Squads instead, each with a Chimera. Each Veteran Squads is a FOC Troops choice so it's easier to fill the 1 HQ/ 2 Troop minimum that way.

Hmmm Colby im not sure what your getting at for option B. Are you saying that i can use the Vet squad to replace 1 or 2 of my infantry squads?

What he's saying, is that because you have 4 chimeras, you can take 1 platoon command squad, 2 infantry squads, and a veteran squad, and thats 2 troops choices.

The platoon command + 2 infantry = 1 choice, veterans = second choice

You still have a command squad and 3 10 man units inside 4 chimeras, only its FOC legal

Yes, basically.

You'll have to change some stuff up to account for the increased cost of the vet squad, but dropping the bolter sponsons off of your tanks could do that. And/or change the hull lascannon on your battle tanks back to heavy bolters. No reason to mix lascannons and heavy bolters on a single tank.

I don't like the idea of a mixed tank squad; either make them both anti-infantry or anti-tank. Give your units a specific job, especially sense your guard.
