I think it's funny that Nick criticized Europe for min-maxing and unimaginative lists considering what most of the US lists look like. Besides that, most of the US lists other than the Nid one and Nick's seem awful, especially for the codexes that they are using.

What you may not realize is that Nick Rose doesn't much care about how well he and the other guys actually do in Europe, he's just looking for any excuse to rile Stelek and the European community up.

Nick and Jon and the other hand-picked member of the so-called "Team America" are all fantastic 40k players who could make lemonade out pretty much any lemon army they were going to play with. If they show up and lose, then it's because they brought bad lists. If they show up and WIN though, it won't be because they brought super-OP lists; it'll be because they're actually good at the game.

But either way, take the international (poop)-talking lightly. Behind the scenes most of the players on both sides already know each other fairly well from previous years events. It's all just part of building up the spectacle.
