Anyone interested in pooling together an FW order?

I'm looking to order some rhino doors and possibly LR doors as well. Anyone up?

I'm thinking of ordering some rhino doors myself, but unless the order total is above 250 pounds there isn't much reason to do a group order.

I'm not sure how the mantacore is going to be any good. It just looks so cool. It has a 24 min range Sad

Isnt that just for the Indirect fire?

I'm pretty sure it can direct fire closer than that, though i can't be sure if this is the same model i am thinking about.

If I got two sets of custom rhino doors and two Hydra Flak tanks, that would be 104 pounds, putting us at 47 pounds to go.

Maybe we should ask at the store if anyone wants anything. 47 pounds is not that much, and as the apoc game today showed, there are a shitton of players in our area.

Also: I really want those doors to make a five customized rhino

First up a Happy New Year from Forge World! And an exiting year it's shaping up to be, with some fantastic new models, books and other surprises in store from us for the coming months. We have a brand new Imperial Guard vehicle released for our Elysian range this newsletter as well as some good news about shipping rates, some more updates.

Thanks
Alan Bligh

New Shipping Offer
Thanks to the continued efforts of our shipping and dispatch department, we can now offer a change to our shipping rates, which should save you money on larger purchases from us.
Starting immediately, all orders with a total product value of £150 and over will automatically qualify for free standard rate shipping anywhere in the world.
As previously, all orders with a total product value of £250 or more will automatically qualify for free Express rate shipping anywhere in the world.
Orders with a product value of less that £150 will be charged our standard rates.

Tauros Venator Rapid Strike Vehicle
New for the Elysians is the Tauros Venator, a six-wheeled rapid strike and scout vehicle. Light, fast and heavily armed, these all terrain attack vehicles are used for rapid reconnaissance and savage lightning raids in support of the drop troop landings. Designed by Will Hayes, with Elysian crewmen by Simon Egan, this full resin model comes with the choice to mount either a twin-linked multi-laser or twin-linked lascannon as well as optional hunter-killer missiles. This is a great model and something genuinely new for the Imperial Guard and Elysian range, as you can see Here.

The Tauros Venator is available now to pre-order Here for dispatch the week commencing the 25th of January.

Rules for the Tauros, as well as other new Imperial Guard vehicles for the Elysians (including a new Valkyrie variant) can be found in our forthcoming book Imperial Armour Volume 8, and we'll have some experimental rules for you to download soon.

New Catalogue
We are in the final stages of preparation for our brand new 2010 Catalogue, (which means that orders shipping out at the moment will not include a free catalogue as we've run out of the old one). If you would like one of our 2010 catalogues, all you need to do is send us your name and full contact details and we will send you out one for free as soon as we get them into stock over the next few weeks. You can either email us your details at forgeworldcatreq@games-workshop.co.uk or give us a ring on 0115 916 8177.

Events
Our packed schedule of events for 2010 begins this weekend at the Frenzy event in Amsterdam Saturday 23rd of January. Forge World will be in attendance with a sales stand and previews of some of our forthcoming models.

You can find more details of this event here.

We now have enough for free standard shipping. It will take longer, but we have it. Also, I'm getting one of the new "Tauros Venator Rapid Strike Vehicle" because it tlooks sooooo freaking cool.

Bringing my total too. 118 pounds.

I'm happy to wait a little longer if y'all want to wait for others. Smile But i'd like to set a "due-date". Then we can figure out how this is all going to work.

Yeah, we should have enough then. Let's re-cap who's getting what and set a total. Who-ever's getting the most should place the complete order. I think that will end up being you, Blackbird.

How do you want to handle the rest of us paying for our parts of the order? Check? Cash? Pay-pal?

To re-cap, I'm getting:

Quote :
IMPERIAL EAGLE RHINO DOORS (IA-ISM-A-018) x2
MKIIc RHINO EXTRA ARMOUR (REINFORCED) (IA-ISM-A-022) x2

That totals to 52.00 pounds

Ill be at the Katy GW store today. (Wednesday). So if your there today, we can talk in person.

In the mean time, PayPal would be the easiest way to go. If someone doesn't have PayPal, ill take cash or check. PayPal saves me a trip to the bank to cash in.

I'm crazy excited for my resin crack.

Why just go for that when for 5 more pounds you could get the Damocles Command Rhino Conversion Kit that you won't have to do any cutting or green stuff work for? It even comes with a custom Rhino interior with Space Marines in it!

I wouldn't have to do any cutting or green-stuffing with the command platform, either...I just want that radar dish to stick on top of my command-center rhino that I built. It's total bullshit that it will cost me over 20 bucks just for that dish but oh well.

And as for the conversion kit, I wouldn't use the rhino interior at all and I wouldn't use the doors either....I only have 1 rhino left to build and I would use those eagle doors.

If you would like the extra stuff in the kit I can get that instead and you pay me for the difference.

Also I left you a really important link that I found on your facebook wall.

I can't believe I'm paying 50 bleeping bucks for a radar dish and some doors.

But yeah, that's right. I can pay cash if you want. Or give it to colby and he gives it to you since you live in Katy.

So just a heads up to you, Blackbird:

I've got my cash on hand and I've got Nick's cash. I'm going to be at the Katy GW store tomorrow afternoon to hand it off. One of my other friends from Sugar Land also tossed me some cash for some things he would like from FW, so I'll be giving that to you as well. If you can make it to the store tomorrow then we can write out the whole list of what to order and have it on it's way. We should be able to get enough now to qualify for the free expidited shipping.
