OwlCon Army Choices

I have two army lists I'm interested in running at Owlcon.

The first list is the one Ive been working with lately an it would either be half unpainted or require alot of painting over the next two days.

The three wolf guard and two rune priests go here

Rune priests go here and the stormcaller guy goes on the landraider you can't deploy
inside.

This army is significantly more painted than the previous and presents slightly more long range. But it's model count is low and is succeptable to one hot wonders on the LRs

Advice?

You aren't going to improve your odds of winning by having a slightly more painted army, so just go with what you have that's primed and works well for you.

I can't for the life of me figure out why you took Tempest's Wrath as the second power for your LR Runepriest...

List 1 is the "best" in that it has the most repetition. It will also annoy the (poop) out of most people you'd have to play against, especially me.

I took Tempest's Wrath on the LR runepriest because the biggest threat to 1-shot those thing are units that are significantly faster than it (skimmers) or units that can surprise it (deepstrike)

Even slightly giving myself a chance to avoid certain death or at least take some things with me when I go is completely hilarious and would be a great counter to Eldar who would easily kill my LR's.

Take the 1st one. It has alot of marines. Even more than I could deal with in my Eldar army.
