One question for Jack:

Why buy a Sarissa for the Canoness? As far as I can see, she doesn't have a legal weapon to use it with, and in almost any situation you'd rather be using your power weapon. Sarissas can only be used with "standard issue bolters" so can't be used with your combi weapon, and they can't be used in conjunction with another weapon, so you can't use its benefits on your power weapon.

Penitent Engines can only be used if you buy a Priest for your army... So you don't have one in the list, do you?

Look on the bright side... at least they don't prevent your units from being Faithful, and they CAN weild Holy Can Openers if you so choose...

Here is the list. It is supposted to be the Executioner's 3th company. It has about half of what an entire company would have, with some parts of the 1st company with the terminators and sternguard. For smaller games I would drop the sternguard and then a larger tac squad.

Also, what were the skills he rolled for?

David told me he rolled +1 Wound and Skill. He took the Tactics tree and chose "Firing Drill", which is the one where infantry units within 12 inches can re-roll failed rolls to hit for shooting.

Welp we'll see how it goes, I made the list forgetting that I would have to drop it down in points regularly so my first game will be a good experiment in seeing what does and doesn't work.
Yea the makeing every gun in my army (ok a 12" bubble) twin linked seemed pretty good and meshed well with the rest of my list. I'll likely go for a more close combat oriented one next chance I get on the skill roll though.

Keep in mind that your next two skills must come from the same skill tree, Daniel. Gotta get three skills in a tree before you can move to a new tree.
